Author Guidelines

Utkalpa: Journal of Management Innovation invites researchers, academicians, faculty members, research scholars, and industry professionals to submit original and unpublished research papers in management, commerce, business administration, finance, entrepreneurship, innovation, and related disciplines.

Manuscript preparation

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and written in clear academic English.
  • Submissions may include research papers, review articles, conceptual papers, and case studies.
  • The manuscript should include a title, author details, abstract, keywords, introduction, methodology, results, discussion, conclusion, and references, as applicable.
  • References and citations should follow a consistent academic referencing style, preferably APA.

Submission guidelines

  • Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal's official submission system.
  • Authors must ensure that all sources are properly cited and plagiarism is avoided.
  • All authors must approve the final manuscript before submission.
  • Simultaneous submission to another journal is not permitted.

Peer review and publication

All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening. Suitable manuscripts are evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process. Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers' comments. The final publication decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief.

Publication ethics

Authors must follow the journal's publication ethics, plagiarism policy, and responsible AI-use requirements. Fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, and unethical authorship are prohibited.

Published articles are made available under the journal's stated open-access license. Authors are responsible for securing permission to reproduce third-party material.

Final submission checklist

Before submitting, authors should ensure that the manuscript is complete, properly formatted, ethically compliant, and accompanied by accurate author details, an abstract, keywords, and references.

Publication processing fee

Utkalpa: Journal of Management Innovation may charge a Publication Processing Fee (if applicable) to cover manuscript processing, peer-review administration, editorial management, formatting, online publication, and digital dissemination.

Any applicable fee will be communicated to authors transparently during the submission or acceptance process. Payment of a fee does not guarantee acceptance or publication; all manuscripts are evaluated according to the journal's editorial policies and peer-review standards.

Authors are advised to confirm the applicable fee, payment procedure, and refund policy with the editorial office before making any payment.
